New Multitasking Video from Daniel Willingham

Daniel Willingham, a professor from the University of Virginia, has created a new video. His new video is on multitasking. Using a clear argument, nice visuals, and scientific fact, Daniel Willingham presents the costs and benefits of the behavior. I think this could be a meaningful segment to share with teachers AND students! The video is embedded below.


  1. I found this video very interesting. Thanks for sharing it. I am trying to remember the presenter who said that there is no such thing as multitasking. One can only shift-task. This concept made a great deal of sense to me when I heard it.

  2. Me too. I feel like it has explained some of the issues I face when I'm working on 10 projects at once!
